Our Bar - Traditional Pub near Welshpool, Powys, Wales

The heart of every pub. We have a good back bar selection of spirits of familiar brand names. Our draught selection accommodates most tastes three lagers, ciders and what every pub should have; at least two real ales. We sell Carling lager as the regular brand but also stock Tuborg, a smooth Dutch premium lager, our draught cider is Stowford Press and we sell varied bottled ciders. The real ales we keep  as much as we can Reverend James from Brains and our second pump is for guest beers usually from a local brewery Kyncrest Wines in Montgomery our main stockist is Tanners Wines. We also stock draught Guinness, the popular smooth flow Tetleys and Pepsi on draught. Chilled White and Rose Wine are sold by the glass large or small and by the bottle as the Red at room temperature. Our fridge range consists of bottled cider, lager, alcopops and soft drinks and don’t forget tea and coffee is always available. Also confectionary sold behind the bar.

In the bar area you will find blackboards keeping updated with food/ drink offers, special events and charity and entertainment nights or take a few minutes to ponder over the weekly conundrum always a great talking point.
